Surf for All

Sinergia is delighted that 10 children and 5 adults with disabilities are invited to the Surf For All program in Long beach, Long Island on July 8th from 2-4 pm.

Surf for All is a not for profit 5013c organization that voluntarily teaches surfing to a variety of special needs students all over Long
Island ranging from Autism, Blind and visually impaired, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Wounded Warriors, and Underprivileged
youth. We believe the ocean is a source of healing and spiritual strength and should be accessible to all.

The surf outing will be 2 hours long with a limit to 10 - 15 surfers on July 18th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on Long Beach BLVD beach in Long Beach, NY. The students will take turns surfing with the instructors without more than 5 students in the water at once with 1-on-1 instruction. Each student will have their parents or a guardian with them for the surf outing. The parent may assist
getting their life jackets and walking them down to the beach for their surf lesson. Each parent must sign our liability waiver in order for their child to participate. There are experienced instructors with the students who are Lifeguard certified, CPR, First Aid along with Long Beach lifeguards present.
Surf for All and Sinergia is honored to be a part of this surf outing. We look forward to an awesome day filled with smiles!
